Profile Erotic hypnotist Isabella Valentine says, "You are getting horny" By David Moye April 24, 2006 San Diego--Most hypnotists focus on getting their clients to relax but Isabella Valentine focuses on getting them aroused. Valentine is a 24-year-old Hillcrest resident who works as an “erotic hypnotist” for her own phone sex line and puts clients into titillating trances designed to push them to the heights of ecstasy. Although Valentine, a student at San Diego City College, will be officially certified in a few weeks, she has been doing her dirty work since 2003, after a suggestion from a phone sex buddy.
Valentine figures the reason she’s so good at her job is because of her upbringing in the south. “I can be a southern belle but I’m also demanding.” And while she describes approach as “very dominant,” it’s “also giggly.” Still, she can be very firm on her clients – and she’s full of surprises. “I like to give them trigger words so that after the session they’ll orgasm if they hear a certain word, or get an instant erection if they hear the sound of water.” Valentine earns up to $3 a minute for her steamy sessions and says the key to getting repeat business is giving them respect even if they’re submissive slaves or “panty boys,” which is her term for men who want to undergo forced feminization during their hypnotic sex session. Although Valentine has provided erotic hypnotism to both men and women, she admits 99 percent of customers are men, and most of them want to either by hypnotized into thinking they’re dressed up as ladies, being cuckolded or hog-tied. On the other hand, the few female phone sex customers Valentine has had the pleasure of hypnotizing want to be taken back to high school to relive a previous sexual encounter. “That’s the difference between men and women. Men want to try something new and women want to remember the past.” But while Valentine gets unspeakable joy from erotic hypnotism, she admits it can be strenuous on the throat. “I have to drink a lot of water because it wears down your voice when you’re repetitive and using the same words and phrases in the same tone of voice. Plus, you have to be specific on the words you use. You can’t say anything negative, such as ‘You cannot move your legs,’ because then the client takes it as a challenge.” Valentine does enjoy helping customers fulfill fantasies but admit one of the reasons she doesn’t meet callers in person is because some of their requests are distasteful to her in real life. “I get uncomfortable when someone asks to be suspended from hooks or have a banana shoved in their ass.” Now that Valentine is about to be a certified hypnotherapist, she plans to continue her education by becoming a sex therapist. She also hopes that being certified – which she says “is just a piece of paper” – will inspire more females to be customers. “It would be fun to hypnotize them so that they orgasm if they hear a certain word and their panties get wet without realizing why.” For more information, check out www.isabellavalentine.com. -------------------- David Moye is a fifth generation resident of San Diego county and has the same birthday as Reggie Bush--but none of the athletic ability.
