Readers weigh in on Jane Doe
Sirs,
Perhaps "Jane Doe" is bringing eyeballs to your website, and is therefore accomplishing your goal of increasing readership through notoriety.
But she is also generating a heck of a lot of bad will toward you and your online magazine. Do you really think her antics reflect well on you? Is hers the behavior of a respectable "board-licensed psychotherapist" and online advice columnist?
It is difficult for me to imagine that she will prove to be a net positive for you or your magazine. She's pathetic, and I assume that any online mag that would feature her, is equally pathetic.
One day you will discover that notoriety does not substitute for content.

While I understand you enjoy the
publicity that your trashy advice columnist generates by
spamming and pissing people off on CL, she is also
destroying your credibility at the same time.
To employ such a person and endorse what she does by not reigning her in some, tells volumes of the integrity that your "news source" has because you are relying on sensationalism in order to get people to read it. You have no credibility with a person like her on your staff. |

But what about saving pets from owners who abuse grammar and spelling?...

IF your the one who wrote the FLAGGING on CRAIGS LIST article ["Who's flagging pet postings on Craigslist? It's a mystery"] then this is foryou !
THEY KILL LEGITIMATE PETS DAILY by flagging and FILLING the board with SHELTER PIT BULLS and other dogs they want to save, and they don't want anyone to STEP on THEIR territory as they THINKIT IS. They care NOT about ANIMALS when flagging simple $50 to $100 adoption fee postings !
CAN YOU WRITE AND ARTICLE ABOUT FLAGGERS KILLING pets on CRAIGS due to ACTIVISIM that is NOT SO KIND
When someone posts for a $50 or 80 adoption fee they are FLAGGED ALSO.
THIS IS VERY UNFAIR to the ANIMALS as they will end up being the "SHELTER $80 to $100 or more animal sold by SHELTERS if NOT PUT TO DEATH "
DUE TO 'thier' fanatic insane flagging !
THank you an adopter who has ben a VICTIM DAILY HOURLY AND WEEKLY... but I got 5 adopted and THANK GOD FOR THAT !
