Vyuz talks to Surf Dawgs pitcher Brent Pourciau By Larry Knowles June 26, 2006 San Diego--San Diego Surf Dawgs pitcher Brent Pourciau took a few minutes to speak with Vyuz.com while watching a pre-game charity softball match that included team mascot Southpaw, Jim Harbaugh, and a half dozen Hooters girls. What exactly is a Surf Dawg? Well, it’s a…I guess, a dog that is skilled in the art of surfing. Have you ever seen one? I’ve seen a dog that skateboards. But, no, I haven’t seen a dog that surfs.
Are there any Surf Dawg groupies that hang out? Yeah, we’ve got some. We call ‘em “cleat chasers.” Alright. How many, one? Two? I’m probably not inclined to tell you. I’d be letting the cat out of the bag. Male or female? Female. They’re not all that great looking, though. I can’t think of any more questions. What kind of a web site is this? Alright, I’ll hit you with some more. Do you even like baseball? It’s alright. I played in high school. I wasn’t very good. Who do you think would inspire you more, the Hooters girls or the Surf Dawgs dance team? The Hooters girls. We need to do some work on our dance team. This is family entertainment, but I’m kind of thinking that we should import some adult entertainment. What about you? That’s a great idea. I think that’d pack the stands with more than what you have now. I think it’s the only route to go. You got any suggestions? Yeah, we were thinking of getting some poles on top of the dugout. Poles on top of the dugout? Yeah. And on the visitors’ side, we’d get some gay strippers for them. Alright, that’s enough. Thanks, Brent. Thank you. -------------------- Larry Knowles is the editor of Vyuz.com and a big fan of alternative spelling.
