I mentioned that pubic hair served a purpose, that maybe things were supposed to get caught in it. He said it may have served a purpose when we lived in the woods and didn’t wear clothes, but in this day in age we didn’t need it. We never did go out again. So, do men really get Brazilian waxes? The Sanctuary Spa does not offer Brazilians to men. Danielle, the concierge, in responding to my questions about whether men visit their salon for Brazilians, told me in an almost disdainful manner, “No.” Lynn at Bare Necessities told me that they do in fact get men going in there for Brazilians. I also talked to Anatomy Day Spa in Hillcrest. One would think that with the gay population of Hillcrest they would received more waxing requests from men. According to Nicole who has worked at Anatomy for two years, she has “never experienced that.” She said, “I have never had anyone ask for that, but I know there are places men can go to get that done.” …The Brazilian wax is definitely worth a try.
